Vanessa Graniero, aka vangran, offers a refreshing authenticity to today's music industry.
Having over seventeen years of live performance and recording studio experience, Vanessa is a skilled vocalist, coach, and voice over talent. This soulful singer has spent countless hours in the recording studio, not only on her own projects but as a session vocalist. She’s created sample packs with Cymatics, plus background and demo vocals for other artists, local producers and songwriters. Vanessa’s live performance background is extensive and diverse, having sung with the Atlanta-based psychedelic funk band, Voodoo Visionary, as well as with church worship teams, and as a solo artist. Vanessa has even landed a spot in the final four of The Voice on Snapchat, representing Team Blake and working with Noah Cyrus.
In 2015, after a long term mentorship with the world renowned vocal coach, “Mama Jan” Smith, Vanessa joined the Jan Smith Studios team as the Executive Administrative Assistant. She facilitated and planned events, online workshops, showcases, and experienced first hand the inner workings of the music business as she shadowed Mama Jan. While remaining passionate towards the artistry of music and the process of creating, her position at the esteemed studio began to evolve. By 2020, Vanessa was brought onboard as a Vocal Coach at Jan Smith Studios, where she continues to share her heart through music and foster the fresh voices of the industry.
